So, maybe you figured out by now that we are nice guys full of cool ideas and ambitions. That's great and makes us happy, one problem though ...
Not many know about us!
We pretty much started with nothing. You could call us enthusiasts or garage developers, but we're actually Indies working hard to establish ourselves with the little means we have available. We got a long road ahead where we learn new things, inevitably make a few mistakes along the road, but most importantly of all make more games that rock your socks off. One of the common Indie weaknesses is Marketing, and that is true for us as well. So why don't you help us with that a little while we make some more cool games?
Help us spread the word! You don't need to pay, unless you want to!
A moment of your time and a small effort is all we need. If just one in a hundred visitors does that we may have good chances of actually growing into an awesome Indie studio that can bring all those ideas to life that are currently left in the drawer!
So let's look at your options, shall we?
"I'm not paying for that!" Options
#1 - Tell your Friends
You could do it oldschool and tell a friend in person about us and our games, but there's modern ways to do it, too! On our games pages are links to share what you found over Twitter and Facebook and all Blogposts have links to share on popular social networks as well.#2 - Write about it
If you got a Blog or Website you could review our games, or just link back here. Either way is fine, but please don't spam forums about us :)
"Shut up and take my money!" Options
The majority of income is used to invest in better games. We'd buy better tools, licenses for better engines, and even outsource a little to freelancers (because there is some great talent out there that we'd like to support by working with them) - all in all make a better game for you to enjoy. We will always do the best we can with the budget we have, but your purchases will always be a deciding factor on how good our games can be and how much content they have.#1 - Purchase a Game
Perhaps the best way you can support us is by buying one of our games. Except for the usual fees and taxes we get all the money to keep and invest. Every purchase matters and motivates us!
#2 - Donating
Maybe you want to invest in us a bigger amount than the price of a game. You can do that, too. Please contact us for details. You will earn our eternal gratitude by doing this and if you donate more than 10$ you can send us your forum name along with it and we will give you a special supporters badge that shows up under your avatar. If you should donate a high amount of money we will tell you exactly what we used your donation for, too, because we want to be as transparent as possible and you deserve to know where your hard earned money ended up at! If it's a lower amount of money we will collect it together with other small donations until the point we can invest it into something worthwhile for our development.
I'm a Freelancer, what can I do to help?
We acknowledge the talent of many freelancers and we'd like to build up a pool of contacts that we can refer to when needed. We are looking for everything from voice actors to composers to graphic artists, etc.
We have no specific requirement in what type and style we search, we only want to know you are out there for us when we need you.
Do not hesitate to contact us and provide us with the following:
- Where we can reach you (this should be something that we can use even 5 years from now)
- A Demo reel of whatever it is you do
- Your general price range (we know this will change all the time and is dependent on the work you need to do, but knowing your current minimum will help our initial selection if we are in need of your services. It doesn't matter if you charge more by the time we contact you for work, we just need an estimate beforehand to make our selection of who to contact under consideration of our budget)
