We are now offering Assets for other Developers. We are starting that off with a Script/Tool Extension for the Unity Engine that let’s you do some really nice Reflections: The Cubemapper.
What are Cubemaps? Cubemaps are a series of 6 images strung together to create a seamless panorama of an environment. This can then be used to easily create reflective Surfaces, for example by using the Unity In-built “Reflective Shaders”.
Our Tool helps you to make Cubemaps of your 3D In-Game Environment with just a few clicks. Just place Nodes wherever you want, press the button, and let it make the Cubemaps for you – fast and accurate. Additionally there’s some convenience functions (“One-Click Assignment”) and Customization Features (such as saving PNG files).
It’s made for Unity 3.5 and works with Unity Basic as well as Unity Pro.
There is a lot happening at the background. In the past few months we have worked almost non-stop on several things.
