UPDATE: The Special Sale has now ended. Thanks to everyone who purchased during this special offer, we hope you’ll enjoy our game (and whatever other games you have bought) very much
Previous Post (no longer valid):
What’s going on?
We’re still working on our new game, though we’re not ready for the full announcement yet. But I still can drop a few hints, no?
It has Aliens, physics simulation powered by PhysX, some awesome shooting, 2D perspective with 3D models and it’s overall more action oriented of a game. There’s still a certain adventure component to it, but if you are hoping for us to jump to another PURE Adventure like Space Madness was then you might have to wait a little longer for us to return to yet another Adventure game. However, it WILL have bizarre sights and situations the way you saw them in Space Madness – so maybe that makes it worthwhile for you to stick around with our new game, too!
We also want to involve you into the development. We have not yet settled how we will do that, but it likely involves early Alpha versions, a forum to put your suggestions in, (possibly) in-game bug reporting and all that. We’ll give you the details when it’s set in stone and you can actually play the damn thing
To finish that vague post I’d like to leave you with a random wireframe image that shows just a little of a Alien and a vague impression of an UFO. And some engine related strange lines and light symbols… weird dev stuff you know. You should see the FULL scene with all the meshes, triggers, light sources etc., it’s like Cthulhu made a puzzle for you! ![]()

More (and fully textured) images will come when we’re ready to announce more information and material.
Foreign Space Madness Reviews
In other news there’s two new Space Madness reviews. This time they are foreign, so in case you are Dutch or French you might be interested in the following two new Reviews about my Adventure game Space Madness:
Unfortunately I can’t really read either of them, but what shines through the mess that Google Translate creates sounds like they are good reviews, mentioning some downs as well as ups (notable the humor)
[Update] Thanks to Charlotte74 in the comments we now know that the French Review “basically says that the price is largely justified. Pretty positive review all in all.”. That doesn’t sound so bad, does it?
Enjoy and stay tuned for more meaningful blog posts regarding our next game coming soon-ish.
Yep, Space Madness now got a Demo version! You can try out a portion of the game and if you decide to buy, you can keep using your save games.
